About CLIMA TERRA

CLIMA TERRA is a free, global and bilingual climate and environmental experience that interprets open data to accompany and support people in their day-to-day life.

Overview

CLIMA TERRA is an independent initiative created by Alfonso Rodríguez (@alfonsoAIData) from Arcos de la Frontera, Spain. It is part of his digital experiences portfolio: clear, visual, interactive and useful pieces that turn complex information into usable context.

It does not simply display weather data. It turns temperature, ultraviolet index, humidity, wind, rain probability and air quality into short, visual and interpretive messages to better understand how climate may influence each location.

Mission

To make complex climate and environmental information easier to understand: turning open data into clear messages that accompany daily life without overwhelming, alarming or replacing personal judgement.

What CLIMA TERRA interprets

Cross-reading of data

The same temperature may feel different depending on the time of day, sun, humidity, wind, rain or air quality. CLIMA TERRA combines several factors to provide messages that are more coherent with the real experience of the day.

Data origins, interpretation criteria, the use of artificial intelligence and official references are explained in Sources and transparency.

Limits

CLIMA TERRA does not replace official forecasts, emergency alerts, official meteorological services, medical recommendations, diagnoses or professional decisions. Its role is to interpret and accompany, not to order, alarm or act as an emergency system.

Location access and additional context

CLIMA TERRA can use the device's approximate location, a manual search or a location included in a link. Data describes the area associated with the coordinates and may come from a climate or environmental grid rather than an exact measurement inside a building.

The Temperature, Ultraviolet index and Air quality cards include additional contextual information on demand. This is general guidance and does not replace local official alerts or professional advice.

Air quality shows the general US AQI separately from the PM2.5 fine-particle concentration in µg/m³ when available. They are not the same indicator.

Data sources, the references used to interpret AQI and PM2.5, and their limitations are detailed in Sources and transparency.
